Important Notice: Beware of Ongoing Scam Attempts

We want to alert residents, business owners and other applicants to a recent scam targeting individuals by

impersonating Town officials. We’ve been made aware of fraudulent emails and messages being sent to

applicants indicating application fees are required to be paid via wire transfer for an application to be approved.

What you should know:

We never ask for payments using wire transfers or by contact links in emails or phone messages.

All communications from PermitLink will come from verifiable channels, and may contain a link back to

this PermitLink page for you to login, find your permit and pay the fee using the PermitLink application.

If you receive any suspicious communication, do not click on any links or provide any information.

If you're contacted, do not respond. Take a screenshot or copy the message and report it to us

or the department involved immediately.
